Splittoppers

A "splittopper" is a type of top mattress designed for use on adjustable beds, such as box springs or slatted bases, where the head and foot ends can be independently adjusted. The distinguishing feature of a splittopper is that it has a split or notch at the head end, allowing the two separate mattress halves of an adjustable bed to move independently without tearing or distorting the mattress.
